Project Manager – Apartments Location: Brisbane Salary: $170,000 – $210,000 Super Type: Full-time | Permanent Start: ASAP About the Company This is an opportunity to join a builder-developer delivering medium to large-scale apartment, mixed-use and commercial developments across South East Queensland. With a strong pipeline of projects ranging from $5M - $50M, the business operates across an integrated delivery model, providing exposure across design management, procurement, construction delivery and project close-out. About the Role An experienced Project Manager is required to lead the delivery of apartment developments from design coordination through to construction and handover. This role offers autonomy across procurement, programme management, commercial coordination and stakeholder management, while working closely with consultants, site teams and senior leadership. The role would suit someone with strong D&C experience who enjoys both the technical and delivery side of projects and is comfortable overseeing multiple project stages simultaneously. Key Responsibilities • Lead apartment projects from design through to construction and handover • Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors • Manage construction programmes, sequencing and project delivery timelines • Oversee Site Managers and monitor on-site progress and performance • Drive buildability, value engineering and cost optimisation outcomes • Assist with procurement, tendering, contract administration and subcontractor engagement • Manage project budgets, variations, EOTs and commercial reporting • Ensure compliance with WHS, QA and regulatory requirements • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies • Manage practical completion, defects and project close-out processes Ideal Candidate • 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager delivering apartment projects • Strong understanding of D&C procurement and delivery models • Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing • Experience managing consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams • High-level commercial acumen and contractual understanding • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Proficiency with MS Project or equivalent construction programming software • Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar Why Apply? • Exposure to high-profile apartment and mixed-use developments • Strong pipeline of secured projects across SEQ • Autonomous role with end-to-end project involvement • Collaborative and experienced leadership team • Opportunity to work across both developer and builder-side delivery If you’re ready to lead landmark apartment developments with a progressive builder-developer, apply now.
